Mr. Reitzel began his practice in 1971 with the law firm Roberson Haworth & Reese. While practicing with that firm as a partner, Mr. Reitzel focused his practice upon real estate, wills and estates, banking and general business matters. During this time, Mr. Reitzel was counsel for several local banks including High Point Bank and Trust Company, Wachovia Bank and Trust Company, First Citizen's Bank and BB&T. Mr. Reitzel was appointed to the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Panel of Trustees for the Middle District of North Carolina, and during this time liquidated many corporate entities, both as a Chapter 7 Trustee and for the banks which he represented. In 1994, Mr. Reitzel left Roberson Haworth & Reese and joined the regional law firm Wyatt Early Harris Wheeler as a partner. During the next four years, Mr. Reitzel continued with his established practice and added commercial litigation. In 1998, Mr. Reitzel started his solo practice to allow him to limit the number of clients that he represents to enable him to provide more personalized service for those clients.
